CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa. - The Wildcats competed against the University of Connecticut in the Women's Varsity 8 and Frosh/Novice March 30th on the Schuylkill River. The conditions for the 1500 meter races were medium to strong current and a strong tailwind for the Novice 8.

Villanova finished second to Connecticut in the Varsity 8 race with a time of 6:02.0. In the second Varsity 8 race the wildcats were defeated again to by a margin of less than five seconds. Lastly, the Frosh/Novice 8 brought home first place beating both Connecticut's A and B boats with a time of 6:20.9.
