VILLANOVA, Pa. - Junior catcher Meghan Morese was named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll for the week of May 5 as announced by the conference office on Monday evening.

Morese was 6-of-14 with four runs scored, eight RBI's and three homeruns. She averaged .429 in four games for the week.

Morese launched back-to-back homeruns in the Wildcats' 11-4 win over Rutgers. She tied the school's homerun record hitting the 27th of her career in Villanova's 10-2 victory over Temple and will surely break the record when she returns for her senior season in 2009.

This is Morese's second conference honor of the season. She was also named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll for the week of April 14.
